Hokanson•Dix Glass, formerly known as Boar Glass, is a hot-glass blowing and casting studio founded in 1996 by artists Bengt Hokanson and Trefny Dix. Hokanson and Dix are known for their distinctive blown glass vessels and mixed media sculpures. Their blown glass work has been influenced by contemporary Italian and Swedish glass artists and forms and color patterns from nature.Bengt Hokanson graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Glass. He has attended Pilchuck Glass School many times between 1990 and 2001 as a student and a teaching assistant. Trefny Dix earned a BFA in sculpture from Indiana University at Bloomington and has been a student at Pilchuck Glass School and New York's Art Students League.
