The works of Roger Gandelman stand out in the world of Art Glass an unusual blend of the present and the past. It is for this reason that the creations of this master craftsman hold a special place in some of the finest collections in the world.

In some of his works, three dimensional flowers and vines with a traditional flavor are used as an interior decoration and contrasts nicely with the smooth contemporary exterior form. Gandelman mixes precious metals such as gold and silver, or rare oxides such as cobalt and copper, with molten glass at temperatures exceeding 2300° to achieve his rich and radiant colors. The combination of transparent and opaque colors suspended in fine crystal gives each piece energy, depth and movement.
