Art Glass by John Cook
John Cook was born in Hollywood, California in 1947. He has been a glass artist since 1968. After studying with internationally known glass artist John Burton for two years, he earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in glass from Brooks Institute of Fine Arts in Santa Barbara, CA where he studied on scholarship and graduated with honors.

John also does pieces based on floral motifs. His lamps and lighting fixtures are designed and made at his studio including the metal work.
He has designed works of arts for many notable collectors. Kenny Loggins, Joe Walsh, Barbara Streisand, Jacque-Yves Cousteau just to name a few. John has exhibited in many galleries and museums, nationally and internationally.
